The Geneva Finance Research Institute (www.gfri.ch) of the GSEM is seeking to hire a full-time research and teaching assistant in real estate finance and investments under the supervision of Professor Martin Hoesli. The candidate will be required to undertake doctoral studies in real estate finance and investments leading to a Ph.D. degree. The main teaching assistant activities include but are not limited to: teaching the tutorials in real estate investments and finance, answering students' queries with respect to courses and Master theses, and preparing, invigilating and grading exams. The position is to be filled from December 1, 2014 or on a date of mutual consent. The position is for a maximum of five years, with the first year being a probation year. The University of Geneva offers a competitive salary.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: The candidate must hold a Master's degree in Finance, Real Estate or related fields from a recognized University with high grades. He/she must be highly motivated to pursue higher studies in real estate investment and finance, be fluent in English and preferably also in French.
